Basketball 2.0
It was the start of the ’24 season. It was also the 40th anniversary of Kurtis Blow’s unambiguously titled hit “Basketball.” So DashPass decided to mark the multiple occasions with a gift to the fans. “Basketball 2.0” took the spirit of the original and brought it soaring from the foul line into the 21st century.

While it’s not technically the same language, most hoops fans are also fluent in sneakerhead. So we had the idea to create a line of designer sneaks inspired by family food histories, and teamed up with the Shoe Surgeon, the foremost authority in the niche-but-not-as-niche-as-you’d-think arena of footwear modification.
